Cambridge Homecoming 10/19

Cambridge's homecoming game scheduled for Saturday has been moved to Stillwater High School, officials announced Thursday.

The Indians were set to take on the Rensselaer Rams at 1 p.m. in Cambridge, but conditions are unsafe at the Cambridge Central School field, according to a message on the district's web site.

Kick-off remains 1 p.m. and all homecoming activities will continue as planned, officials said.

The game, between two 7-0 teams, will decide the owner of the No. 1 seed in the Class D South Division.

Mechanicville's homecoming game last week was moved to Shenendehowa after the field failed to drain, coach Kevin Collins said. Their playoff game has been moved to Schuylverville.

Story in tomorrow's paper about that.
